1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TheYardBash ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent business information
• Impersonate another person or business
• Scrape, crawl, or automate access to the Site without written permission
• Interfere with the operation of the Site or its servers
• Post spam, malware, or other harmful content

3. Business Listings

TheYardBash is a directory platform. Business listings may be created by us using publicly available information or submitted directly by business owners. By submitting or claiming a listing:

• You confirm you are authorized to represent the listed business
• You are responsible for the accuracy of all information you provide
• You grant us a non-exclusive license to display your business information and photos on the Site
• You understand we may display your business information even before you claim a listing

Disclaimer: Listing information may be user-submitted or sourced from third parties. TheYardBash does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of any listing. Always verify business details directly with the provider.

4. Pro Subscription

Certain features require a paid Pro subscription. By subscribing:

• You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the selected billing interval
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• You may cancel at any time through your dashboard; access continues through the end of the billing period
• Payments are processed by Stripe and subject to Stripe's terms of service

5. Refund Policy

Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days of the charge at hello@theyardbash.com and we will review your request.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site that is created by TheYardBash — including design, layout, logos, and compiled directory data — is owned by TheYardBash and protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent. Business owners retain ownership of the content they submit (photos, descriptions, etc.).

7. Third-Party Content

The Site may display reviews, ratings, and location data sourced from Google via the Google Places API. This content is provided "as is" and subject to Google's terms. We are not responsible for the accuracy or completeness of third-party content.

8. Limitation of Liability

TheYardBash is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TheYardBash shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, including but not limited to damages from relying on inaccurate listing information. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TheYardBash and its operators from any claims, losses, or damages (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Site, your listing submissions, or your violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct we determine to be harmful to the Site, other users, or third parties.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Georgia.
